In Monahans, Texas, Angel G. Ochoa has been arrested and charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals, a third-degree felony, after allegedly shooting a dog with a BB gun. The incident occurred on January 23, when officers responded to reports of an injured dog in the 400 block of W 10th Street. Upon investigation, it was determined that Ochoa intentionally harmed the animal. He was subsequently taken into custody by the Monahans Police Department.
